Produced in collaboration with local designer, CollectiveHQ, Block is a range of contemporary furniture designed and manufactured in the UK using Alusid’s Silicastone as the table surface material. Each piece is unique due to the natural differences inherent to handmaking a product.
The table bases have been designed to use waste and offcuts from local manufacturers who use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) sourced plywood. CollectiveHQ has designed the tables to each nest perfectly inside one another for the cutting process. This reduces waste and makes the cutting more efficient. The design allows for off-cuts to be used where possible and reduces the use of virgin material.
