Surface Design Show

The Surface Design Show 2025 once again brought together the best in innovative materials, sustainable solutions, and cutting-edge design. We were delighted to be shortlisted for the interior product of the year at their annual awards. Even though we were pipped at the post. It is always an amazing show here are three standout highlights from this year’s event:

1. Foresso’s Stunning Room Set

One of the most talked-about installations was Foresso’s breathtaking room set, which perfectly showcased the beauty and versatility of timber terrazzo. With its rich, textural surfaces made from wood offcuts bound in a resin matrix, the space exuded warmth, craftsmanship, and sustainability in equal measure. The combination of natural tones, seamless finishes, and carefully curated lighting made it a true standout, demonstrating how recycled materials can create luxurious and contemporary interiors.

2. Bold Textures and Statement Finishes

2025 is all about texture, and the show featured a range of surfaces designed to create impact. Of particular note were Italian surface product designers CIMENTO. They presented a number of light weight cement  sculptural 3D tiles showing that designers are embracing touchable surfaces that add depth and dimension to interiors.

3. 3D Wall Panels – Wooden acoustic panels

One standout collection was CABANA made from precision formed wood panels that created geometric formations, adding a dramatic and organic feel to interior spaces featuring angled and low density forms that reduce noise in commercial environments. 3D wall panels also presented their range of relief glazed ceramic tiles for feature walls and other commercial applications.
