Alusid, the UK materials innovator known for transforming industrial waste into high-performance ceramic tiles and solid surfaces, made a prominent appearance at this year’s SICAM fair in Pordenone, Italy. The company’s products were featured on the trade stand of 3D Wall Panels Italia, Alusid’s newly appointed commercial distributor for the Italian market.
SICAM – one of Europe’s leading international exhibitions for components, materials, and technologies for the furniture industry – provided an ideal platform to introduce Alusid’s low-carbon, high-recycled-content materials to a broad audience of designers, manufacturers, and specifiers. The stand attracted strong interest throughout the show, with visitors particularly drawn to the depth of colour, robust technical performance, and distinctive surface character achieved through Alusid’s patented waste-recycling and dry-granulation processes.
The collaboration with 3D Wall Panels Italia marks Alusid’s second major European distribution partnership and reflects growing demand in Italy for sustainable, design-led materials. The partnership focuses on commercial specification for wall and floor tiles across hospitality, retail, and residential sectors, with initial projects already in development.
