Recognition for Sustainable Innovation: Mas by Alusid

Mas represents a bold step forward in the tile industry, addressing the environmental challenges posed by traditional ceramic tile production. Developed by Alusid® and available through Parkside Architectural Tiles, Mas is the first mass-produced floor and wall tile made with up to 98.5% recycled content.

Using a unique low-energy dry granulation process, Mas transforms waste materials from various industrial processes into a high-performance vitrified tile, offering:

95%-98.5% recycled content (depending on colour)

51% lower carbon emissions compared to the Spanish ceramic tile industry average

44% less water use

A total GWP (Global Warming Potential) of weighted average of 6.09kg CO2e per m²

Mas is available in four contemporary colours—Grey, Ochre, Red, and Charcoal—and two size formats, providing designers with flexible, eco-friendly options for both walls and floors.
